Vince performs in contemporary Afro-Cuban, Jazz, Funk and Brazilian music and specializes in teaching these styles. In 1995 he joined Ray Barretto and New World Spirit and developed his reputation in the Latin Jazz genre.  In 1998, Vince was asked to perform with The Caribbean Jazz Project, which began on-going musical relationships with both Dave Samuels and Paquito D’Rivera.  In 2004, Vince became the drummer for Jazz at Lincoln Center's, Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra. Among others, Vince has recently performed with Claudia Acuna, Eric Alexander, Angela Bofill, Randy Brecker,The Caribbean Jazz Project, The Paquito D'Rivera Quintet, Joe Lovano, James Moody, Chico O'Farrill's Jazz Orchestra, Eddie Palmieri, The Dave Samuels Quartet, and Diane Schur.
