New Programs for 2008:
Advanced
Studies Custom Program
This program is designed for students who want to continue their studies on an advanced
individualized private study format.
*PREREQUISITES*
Students participating in this program must have successfully completed The Collectives
one-year, or six-semester diploma programs.
Elective
Intensive Program Pop/R&B
This program gives the student
the opportunity to undertake an intensive period of study in the Pop/R&B Genres. Beginning in the Spring Semester of 2008.
3 Week Intensive Program
The 3-Week intensive gives the student the opportunity to study a wide range of topics over a short period of time.
Topics include reading, instrumental technique, and jazz, funk, Afro-Cuban, and Brazilian styles. The program also includes
a rhythm section class with professional musicians, and a private lesson. Each student is allocated two hours a day of practice
time.

Dec. 1 to Dec. 19, 2008
2 Week Intensive Program
The 2 week intensive also gives students opportunities to study a wide range of
topics in a short period of time. The topics covered are the same as the 3 week intensive, but are covered in a two week period
of time.
Program Dates:
August 18th to August 29th, 2008
Private Lessons
Part-time Courses are geared to local part-time musicians, and are
also offered for those wishing to take a weekly class or two, study privately, or
book individual practice time
